Accusatorial system of adjudication and litigation system is a system where parties have a burden to prove their allegation. By extension, it connotes a situation where anyone who seeks redress in court must proof and establish that he is entitled to be given a redress. Judges generally preside over legal dispute by way of an unbiased umpire who is there to ensure that the pertinent showed are compiled with by the litigants or parties to the case. Parties are not expected to intermingle or take sides in any dispute. Such practice is known as jumping into the arena.
